Established Global Freight Forwarder in Heathrow looking to recruit a Business Development Manager - Air Freight to join their team

Hybrid Heathrow/ Home based

Job Duties
Develop a robust air freight sales pipeline across key sectors such as Aerospace, Automotive, Electronics, Consumer & Retail, Healthcare, and Industrial.
Identify and pursue new air freight business opportunities through market research and proactive outreach.
Manage enquiries, RFQs, and tenders from inception to conclusion.
Collaborate with the Air Product team to craft customer-centric value propositions.
Contribute to the strategic growth of our air business unit in the UK.
Present compelling, value-adding solutions aligned with company standards.
Ensure new business is in line with our internal financial guidelines.
Develop and maintain influential relationships within potential major clients.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
Must have proven sales record in acquiring new business & exceeding sales targets.
Significant background in Air or Multimodal freight forwarding
Experience in Managing large and complex tenders
Understanding Key vertical markets
Skilled at building trust & establishing high quality relationships with customers
