• Support pupils with challenging behaviour using positive behaviour management approaches
• Adapt learning activities to promote inclusion and accessibility
• Support communication development, including PECS, Makaton, or other communication tools
• Monitor and record pupil progress, sharing observations with the wider SEN team
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
• Engage in ongoing professional development related to ASD and SEN best practice

The School Environment:

About You:

You will ideally have:
• Experience supporting children, particularly those with ASD
• A strong understanding of ASD and diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
• A Level 2 (or higher) qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (preferred)

If you are passionate about helping children with ASD reach their full potential and want to be part of a caring and dedicated team, we would love to hear from you.
