Our client is a wealth management company seeking to recruit an Assistant Compliance Manager, Jersey.

Overall purpose of the role:

To act as the MLRO, MLCO for entities in the scope of Schedule 2 to the Proceeds of Crime (Jersey) Law.

Key responsibilities will include;

• To be responsible for ensuring that clients comply within laws, regulations and regulatory guidance including anti-money laundering, countering financing of terrorism and countering proliferation financing (AML/CFT/CPF) as well as prudential regulations
• Support the board in preparation of MI for the board reports
• Support the CO, MLCO and MLRO in ensuring that the entity and its clients remain at all times in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and codes of practice

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience working within a compliance function
• Confident in dealing with Senior Executives / Board members
• Holding a relevant compliance-related qualification
• Hold/look to hold a key person role as defined by the JFSC
• A comprehensive knowledge of the Jersey regulatory environment
• Knowledge of local legislation, regulation and corporate governance best practice
