Role: Assistant Manager

Salary: Negotiable DOE, up to £40,000 per annum + bonus
Overview:
We have a great opportunity for an Assistant Manager within a rapidly expanding electrical and lighting wholesaler in the Leeds area.
Led by an ambitious Branch Manager, you will be joining a great team and overseeing the business in conjunction with the manager, as well as having responsibility in their absence.
Responsibilities?
o Based at the trade counter, you will become an integral part of a busy and fast moving branch
o Deal with sales enquiries on a face to face basis
o You will represent the trade counter department within the branch and assist with the growth of the business working as a team to exceed their sales targets
o You will ensure that the needs of the customers are dealt with quickly and efficiently whilst providing a service that ensures that customers return on a regular basis
o You may also be required to help in other roles within the branch (including stores, supplier liaison, stock control, admin)
o You will be responsible for assisting the branch manager with a team of staff, overseeing the team when they are away from the business
Skills & Experience:
o Good Electrical Product knowledge gained within an Electrical Wholesaler
o The ability to build relationships with different types of customer
o Good telephone manner
o Friendly, articulate, customer focused
Working hours:
o 7.30am to 5pm (although shift time could be negotiable)
