Join Our Team: KS1 Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting young children in their educational journey? We have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming team at a school in the L30 area.

About the Role:
This part-time position (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) is within the KS1 phase, where you will support children with a range of needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your role will involve assisting with phonics and helping children develop their early literacy skills in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

What We’re Looking For:
•Strong phonics knowledge
•Experience working with children with SEN
•A proactive and patient approach to supporting young learners
•An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply with our support)
•Excellent communication skills and a caring attitude
