Working closely with Partners and senior management, the successful Audit Manager will take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, managing audit engagements from planning through to completion. Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of audit clients across a range of sectors, from planning to completion
Supervise and mentor junior members of the audit team, reviewing their work and supporting development
Liaise directly with clients and Partners, building strong long-term relationships
Ensure audits are completed to a high standard, in line with current auditing standards and regulations
Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the wider growth of the audit department
Requirements
ACA or ACCA qualified, with proven audit experience gained within practice
Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS
Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
Proven ability to manage, coach, and develop junior team members
