A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Manchester has an opening for an experienced and confident Audit Manager to join a well-regarded and ambitious audit practice, with a technically varied and interesting client base, real management responsibility, and flexible working, a company pension, and much more on offer for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities
Managing the delivery of audit assignments across a varied and technically interesting client portfolio
Reviewing audit files and providing clear and constructive feedback to junior and semi-senior staff
Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships with confidence and professionalism
Supporting partners on complex assignments and contributing to strategic client planning
Leading, developing, and inspiring members of the audit team
Contributing actively to business development activity and growing the firm's audit portfolio

Requirements
ACA or ACCA qualified with a strong audit background gained within practice
At least five years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
Proven experience managing a varied audit portfolio and leading a team effectively
Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage at senior client and partner level
Commercially minded and proactive, with a genuine appetite to contribute to the growth of the practice
