The successful candidate will take ownership of a varied portfolio of private clients, including high net worth individuals, trusts, and partnerships, providing proactive tax planning advice while managing compliance to a high standard. You will play a key role in mentoring junior members of the tax team, working closely with partners on advisory projects, and helping to shape the future direction of the private client tax offering. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys a mix of technical challenge and client relationship management.

Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of private clients, including HNW individuals, trusts, and partnerships
Provide proactive tax planning advice alongside compliance work
Review tax returns prepared by junior staff and provide technical guidance
Support partners on advisory projects and business development initiatives
Mentor and develop junior members of the tax team
Requirements:
CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience)
Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
Strong technical knowledge of private client tax matters
Excellent client relationship management skills
Ability to manage a portfolio autonomously while supporting wider team goals
