Crowe Watson Recruitment is pleased to be working with a highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Leeds in their search for an Audit Senior to join their team. This position is predominantly audit-focused with some accounts preparation, including producing accounts from client trial balances and drafting basic tax computations.
The successful candidate will have experience leading audits and supervising junior staff. You will be responsible for overseeing the full audit cycle, including planning, fieldwork, completion, and reporting directly to Managers and Partners. Strong organisational and communication skills will be essential, as well as the ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.

Liaise with clients to gather information and resolve queries
Prepare audit files in line with regulatory and firm standards

Ensure assignments are completed to deadlines and within budget
Requirements
ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist
Proven experience leading audits and managing junior staff
Strong technical knowledge of audit and accounts preparation
Ability to manage the full audit cycle independently
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A proactive and professional approach with strong attention to detail
