CARE WORKERS WANTED – SCHOOL SETTING

Axcis Education is currently recruiting experienced care workers to support children and young people within a school environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for caring, patient and dedicated professionals who want to use their care experience to make a positive difference to children's lives and education.

The Role
• Providing personal and emotional support to pupils
• Supporting children with additional needs and/or disabilities
• Assisting pupils with their daily routines and personal care where required
• Supporting mobility and physical needs
• Helping pupils access learning and participate in school activities
• Working closely with teachers and other support staff
• Promoting pupils' independence, confidence and wellbeing
• Maintaining a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment

We’re Looking For
• Previous experience working as a Care Worker, Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant or similar
• Experience supporting children or young people is desirable
• A caring, patient and compassionate approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, professional and committed
• Comfortable working in a busy school environment

Essential Requirements
• Child and Adult DBS registered on the Update Service
• Relevant care/support experience
• Right to work in the UK
