Job Title: Classroom Support Assistant
Location: Stockport and Surrounding Areas
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time – Temporary and Long-Term Roles Available
Salary: £85 - £100 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)

Axcis Education is currently recruiting Classroom Support Assistants to work across a range of primary and secondary schools in Stockport and nearby areas. We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and nurturing individuals to join our team in time for the September 2025 academic term.

Role Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with a range of needs, including SEND
- Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and positive learning environment
- Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and engaging in lessons
- Encourage social interaction, independence, and confidence among students
- Help with classroom management and maintaining a safe learning space
- Contribute to progress monitoring and individual learning plans where required

We are looking for individuals who:
- Have previous experience working with children or young people (school, nursery, care, youth work, etc.)
- Are confident working with students of varying abilities, including those with Autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Are proactive, adaptable, and reliable
- Are available from September 2025
