Description

Our client is an established independent fiduciary services provider with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality services to private clients and complex multi-jurisdictional structures. The business offers a collaborative and professional working environment with a focus on long-term client relationships.

Role
This role sits within the accounting team and involves supporting the bookkeeping and accounts administration for a portfolio of trusts and managed companies. The position offers flexibility, with full-time, reduced hours or alternative working arrangements considered, as well as contract, temporary or permanent options.

Key responsibilities
• Posting transactions including purchases, sales, dividends and corporate actions
• Maintaining accurate records, including saving statements and advices
• Preparing and posting property letting statements
• Performing bank and portfolio reconciliations
• Assisting with the preparation of management and financial reporting
• Supporting the production of information for board packs, regulatory returns and internal reporting
• Identifying any discrepancies, risks or areas of non-compliance
• Working closely with client services and other internal teams
• Ensuring adherence to internal policies, procedures and accounting standards

Person specification
• Around 3 years’ experience within a bookkeeping or accounting role
• Previous experience within a trust or financial services environment is essential
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Good working knowledge of Excel (including basic formulas)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Proactive approach with good organisational skills
• Willingness to study towards a relevant professional qualification
