The Role
This is a permanent opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a progressive environment, focusing on assisting with the development and leading the implementation of changes to accounting-related working practices. The role includes developing standardised templates, supporting automation initiatives, and ensuring new processes are successfully rolled out across the business.

Key Responsibilities
• Working with the transformation team to develop new bookkeeping and financial statement preparation processes.
• Assisting with testing of new templates and automated processes, gathering and analysing feedback.
• Leading the implementation of new accounting-based policies and processes across the firm.
• Liaising with software and service providers to resolve issues and propose enhancements.
• Acting as the link between accountants and technology specialists to foster adaptability and knowledge sharing.
• Reporting regularly on project progress to the Finance Director.
• Assisting in drafting proposals and reports for the Board of Directors.

About You
• ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified, with CPD requirements met.
• Very good technical knowledge and understanding to deliver a range of accounting activities.
• Familiarity and a basic understanding of SSRS reporting, Power BI reporting, and automated workflow processes.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to explain and document processes clearly.
• Proactive and self-sufficient, able to meet deadlines while working to high standards.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve moderately complex issues.
• A positive and committed approach, leading by example.
