Key Responsibilities
• Leading a private client team, ensuring operational effectiveness, team development, and alignment with Group strategy.
• Acting as an ‘A’ signatory and board member for affiliated and managed entities.
• Overseeing complex client relationships, ensuring service delivery meets internal KPIs and client expectations.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and intermediaries, identifying opportunities for growth.
• Playing a key role in the onboarding of new business and involvement in client pitches and external presentations.
• Driving commercial outcomes through ownership of team budgets, billing, debtor control, and resource planning.
• Working closely with Risk, Compliance and Operations to ensure governance frameworks are adhered to.
• Championing company values while mentoring and coaching staff across all levels.
• Contributing to Group-wide initiatives and leading local business projects as required.
The successful candidate will have:
• Extensive experience at a senior level within private wealth administration.
• A professional qualification that meets Category A status recognised by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop others.
• Excellent relationship management capabilities and commercial acumen.
• In-depth knowledge of fiduciary structures, relevant legal and regulatory frameworks, and AML requirements.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive operational efficiency.
• The ability to identify new business opportunities and lead business development efforts.
• A collaborative mindset and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally.
