Description

Our client, a well-established financial institution, is seeking a Company Secretary Officer to join its Guernsey-based team. This is an excellent opportunity to provide company secretarial support to Relationship Managers across a broad portfolio of client companies, ensuring a high standard of regulatory compliance and corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and file Guernsey Registry submissions including incorporations, annual validations, audit waivers, and statutory filings.
• Maintain the registered office board and update core systems with company secretarial data.
• Assist Relationship Managers with company-related matters including liquidations, incorporations, and ongoing maintenance.
• Liaise with third-party agents on behalf of client companies.
• Support the maintenance and filing of Guernsey Beneficial Ownership Registers.
• Oversee completion of economic substance reporting and tax notifications across jurisdictions.
• Ensure timely filing of BVI Annual Financial Returns.
• Monitor changes to company law and update Relationship Managers and management accordingly.
• Collaborate internally to ensure timely delivery of accurate company secretarial data.
• Support company secretarial projects and manage time effectively.

The Ideal Candidate:
• Two to three years’ experience in a Company Secretarial or similar financial services role.
• ICSA or STEP qualified.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Able to work accurately in a fast-paced, volume-driven environment.
• Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage and prioritise competing deadlines.
• Professional and client-focused, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• A collaborative team player who is flexible, adaptable, and eager to support others’ development.
