Your role includes overseeing system configuration, leading troubleshooting efforts, and working with manufacturers such as QSC, Biamp, Crestron, Shure, Poly, Logitech, and Sennheiser. You will report directly to senior management, keeping them informed of progress and flagging any risks or issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and mentor a small commissioning team, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery
• Own the commissioning process from pre-checks through to final client handover
• Configure, tune, and test AV systems, including QSC (Q-SYS), Biamp (Tesira), and Crestron control systems
• Ensure scope of works is correctly interpreted and fully implemented on site
• Oversee firmware/software updates, system calibration, and performance testing
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and installers to deliver seamless AV solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently, escalating as needed
• Produce commissioning documentation, test reports, and punch lists
• Support client training, user acceptance testing, and technical sign-off
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in AV commissioning or similar technical role
• Strong understanding of DSPs, control systems, and video conferencing platforms
• Experience with QSC, Biamp, Crestron, Shure, Poly, Logitech, and Sennheiser technologies
• Ability to interpret AV drawings, signal flow diagrams, and wiring schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
• Capable of working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple projects
• Certifications (e.g., Q-SYS, Tesira, Crestron, CTS) are a plus
What We Offer:
• An opportunity to grow into a senior leadership role in a fast-developing department
• Ongoing professional training and certification support
• A collaborative team culture focused on innovation and quality
• Exposure to high-end AV technologies and cutting-edge projects
• Competitive salary and benefits package
