My client are a well-established construction contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the healthcare and education sectors. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

THE ROLE:
As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of 3–4 live projects at any one time, typically valued between £1m – £3m. Projects are primarily within live healthcare and medical environments, as well as education settings, requiring a high level of planning, coordination, and stakeholder management.

You will take full responsibility for contracts from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Managing multiple projects within live healthcare and education environments
• Overall responsibility for programme, cost control, quality, and H&S compliance
• Leading and supporting Project Managers and site teams
• Managing client relationships and liaising with consultants and stakeholders
• Overseeing subcontractor performance and commercial control
• Ensuring compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager (or Senior Project Manager ready to step up)
• Essential experience working in live medical or healthcare project environments
• Strong background delivering projects in the £1m – £3m range
• Experience within healthcare and/or education sectors
• Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of UK construction regulations and H&S standards
