Description

Join this leading international life assurance provider as part of its Guernsey-based Corporate Solutions team. This is an exciting opportunity to support key AML, CDD, and KYC processes within a busy operational and compliance-focused environment. This contract role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality due diligence is maintained across a diverse client base, including corporates, trustees, and individuals.

Working collaboratively across business lines and jurisdictions, the successful candidate will carry out quality assurance and enhanced due diligence reviews as part of scheduled reviews and trigger events. The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to the improvement of internal processes and reporting mechanisms while gaining exposure to regulatory frameworks in a dynamic financial services setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conducting risk-based CDD/AML checks, including enhanced due diligence reviews.
• Performing detailed reviews and analysis of customer profiles, documentation, and complex corporate structures.
• Ensuring appropriate due diligence evidence is obtained and accurately recorded in line with client risk levels.
• Escalating documentation gaps and liaising with internal teams to ensure data integrity.
• Managing customer contact for KYC-related enquiries and document requests.
• Supporting operational reporting and contributing to audit readiness.
• Participating in internal projects, system testing, and operational process improvements.
• Collaborating closely with compliance teams and contributing to a strong risk-aware culture.

The Ideal Candidate:
• A minimum of three years’ experience within the finance industry.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience of CDD, KYC and AML requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail with proven accuracy in documentation and review.
• The ability to manage high volumes of work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, client-focused attitude.
• Confidence in analysing complex structures and regulatory requirements.
• Initiative and a continuous improvement mindset for enhancing processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and customer data systems.
