Manager / Assistant Manager / Associate Director Level Considered

Overview of the Role
A leading fiduciary and private wealth services firm is seeking a capable and governance-focused individual to join as a Corporate Secretariat. This key role involves supporting board-level governance and communication across a number of jurisdictions, ensuring effective coordination of meetings, maintenance of statutory records, and facilitation of sound decision-making processes.

This permanent, onsite opportunity is based in Guernsey and will appeal to professionals with strong corporate governance skills, ideally developed within regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate board meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and timely distribution of board packs.
• Provide clear, accurate minute-taking and tracking of action points across multiple entities and jurisdictions (Guernsey, Switzerland, Cayman, Dubai).
• Act as the liaison between board members, senior management, and committees to support smooth information flow.
• Maintain statutory records and develop corporate governance improvement plans.
• Provide guidance on board documentation and ensure content clarity and compliance with best practice.
• Lead or contribute to governance-related projects and ensure regular updates based on evaluations and reviews.

What You’ll Bring
• A relevant professional qualification (e.g. ICSA, STEP Diploma or equivalent).
• Strong technical knowledge in corporate governance, legislation, regulatory requirements, and secretarial practices.
• Experience in a regulated business environment is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships across varied stakeholder groups.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in drafting documentation, especially board minutes.
• Critical thinking and project management capabilities to review and enhance existing governance procedures.
• A commercial approach, with sound judgment and discretion.

Level of Appointment
This position is anticipated to align at Manager level. However, applications are welcome from candidates with relevant experience at Assistant Manager or Associate Director levels. The final offer will reflect the successful candidate’s experience and responsibilities.
