Cover Supervisor – Primary School
Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
Contract: Agency, term time only
Pay: From £13.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
Axcis Education is currently recruiting for an experienced cover supervisor to work within a welcoming and supportive primary school in Rochdale.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and positively
• Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
• Adapt learning to meet individual needs
• Promote an inclusive and engaging learning environment
The school has a significant focus on SEND provision, so a strong understanding of supporting children with additional needs is essential.
Essential Requirements
• Proven experience working with SEND children, particularly within a primary setting
• A clear understanding of supporting young people with special educational needs and disabilities
• A genuine passion and desire to make a positive difference
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Child and Adult DBS registered on the Update Service (mandatory)
• A proactive, nurturing and resilient approach
