Vacancy: Customer Service Lead
Location: Livingston
Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 1pm on Fridays
Overview:
We're looking to recruit a Customer Service Lead, on behalf of a well-established and reputable Manufacturer in Livingston.
Package / Benefits:

Responsibilities:
• Proactively manage effective working relationships with customers providing them with agreed service level, sales order support, complaint handling & issue resolution.
• Liaise with Supply Chain to determine relevant fulfilment strategy in support of the service level requirement
• Proactively identify critical service issues with the customer and if an alternative delivery cannot be agreed use the internal prioritisation and escalation process to resolve.
• Manage all customer complaints (including internal customers) using the complaints procedure and document all corrective and preventative measures.
• Be responsible for ensuring all Quotations and Sales Orders are processed and completed in a timely fashion.
• Ensure all Depot personnel are aware of and adhere to Depot procedures to guarantee standardised working practices.
• Keep management updated with customer related activities (Orders, changes, complaints, analysis etc.)
• Ensure that drivers, vehicles, loads and journeys are planned to optimise the resources available.
• Ensure all returns are agreed and processed in accordance with company policy.
• Be responsible for planning all workflow through the Depot and allocating daily tasks to specific individuals.
• Be responsible for all aspects of time management of Depot personnel.
• Participate in the review on a monthly basis of Key Performance Indicators and assist in analysing the results.
• Ensure the efficient completion of any assigned tasks and manage any problems, issues or difficulties that arise.
• Be responsible for reporting any instances of misconduct or timekeeping issues to HR and management.
• Responsibility of Health and Safety implementation and monitoring.
Experience / Skills:
• Experience of directly managing personnel on a daily basis and allocating tasks to specific individuals.
• Experience of taking responsibility for the workflow within a team of people and meeting deadlines based on business needs.
• Good commercial knowledge of sales processes such as sales order processing, quotations etc.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Good I.T. skills
• Knowledge of the electrical wholesale industry would be advantageous
