£70,000 - £85,000 plus
Based in Cambridge this is a fantastic opportunity for a Director or Lead Software Test and Implementation Engineer to join a company developing connectivity IP at the forefront of technology.
The Director / Head of Software Test will be reporting to the C team and Heading up a small to medium sized team focused on software product testing. The team it is a small flexible dynamic team who are passionate about technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the initial concept, through design, implementation of Automation Frameworks and into manufacturing. Responsibilities will include: Managing Implementing Automation Testing and effective manual and automated testing (within an agile development process); running tests interpreting results and suggesting improvements; Leading implementation Projects for Automation Testing
The successful candidate will have a good degree with a proven background in Managing, Leading and also Software Testing and Implementing automation Testing with a strong background in Engineering. Proven Management, Leading and Strategy is key to the role, along with a background in
Implementing Automation Software Test Systems, along with some Manual Testing experience
Embedded Software Testing
Excellent ability to communicate information about status of tests
Some experience of scripting languages, Python and Bash are of particular interest
An understanding of Linux and command line-based interfaces.
