Based in London, the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be joining a truly innovative company focused on the design and development of a new product which is set to revolutionise the Medical industry. The products are developed using new ideas and techniques and these ground-breaking products utilises never seen before robotics technology,
The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing solutions for complex mechanisms, these designs should address requirements on size, weight and efficiency. Other responsibilities will include: New designs using Solidworks; Participating with the assembly and testing of prototypes; Carrying out mechanical design reviews, including tolerance stack analysis, FEA and design animation.
The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree along with a proven background as a Mechanical Design Engineer. Additional requirements include:
• Previous experience working in the Medical Devices sector or similar
• A understanding of Mechanism design
•An understanding of either Robotics, Automation or Control
