Description
A well-established construction consultancy is seeking a proactive and organised individual to join their Guernsey-based office. This role will play a key part in delivering high-quality support services for prestigious construction projects across Guernsey and the UK.
Responsibilities of the Role
Document Control:
• Manage project correspondence with contractors and consultants.
• Maintain and update project trackers to reflect current document versions and correspondence status.
• Follow up on outstanding responses to ensure information is received on time.
• Prepare monthly tracker summaries for end-of-month reporting.
• Proofread outgoing documentation, ensuring high standards of grammar and presentation.
• Draft formal instructions for issuing project documents to relevant contracting parties.
Business Support:
• Type up meeting minutes with a 1-day turnaround time.
• Print and bind reports for client presentations.
• Provide general office support, including ordering and managing business supplies.
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Excellent written English, with the ability to assist in client report preparation.
• Proficient in Excel, including data input and graphing capabilities.
• Experienced in document control, tracking, and managing revisions from creation to completion.
• Highly organised, reliable, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
• Familiarity with PDF files and DocuSign is an advantage.
• Prior experience in the construction sector is desirable.
