Axcis Education is proud to be working with an independent specialist provision who are seeking a full-time Early Literacy Skills Specialist. The successful candidate will be trained in Early Literacy Skills and confident in delivering lessons that support students – aged 8-16 -with ASD, ADHD and Complex Needs.
This role will involve teaching on a 1 to 1 basis and small group basis. This is a full time teaching opportunity starting after half term. This is a full time position and the hours for this role are 9.00-16.45. The rate of pay for this position is £25,000-£40,000, depending on your SEND experience and qualifications (you must have QTS).
The provision welcomes learners with a wide range of SEND needs including SEMH, Trauma, ADHD, and ASD. Every student has an EHCP and most benefit from 1:1 support, ensuring a highly supportive teaching environment. With multiple sites and excellent facilities, the school is dedicated to creating opportunities where students can succeed both academically and personally.
The ideal candidate will:
-Be a qualified teacher with SEND experience
-Have training in Early Literacy Skills.
-Be able to adapt teaching to meet diverse needs
-Have a passion for supporting young people with additional needs
