Axcis are pleased to be working with primary schools in the Bury and Greater Manchester area. Do you have experience of supporting others with Special Education Needs (SEN)

Pay Rate: £89-105 (dependent on experience)
Location: Bury/ Greater Manchester
Position: Teaching Assistant
Contract Type: Full time/Part time/ Day to Day/ Long term
Start Date: ASAP

Teaching Assistants with Axcis will:
• Build good relationships with students.
• Participate in training and professional development related Special Education Needs (SEN)
• Follow the direction of the class teacher.
• Prepare the classroom for learning.
• Supervise lunchtime activities.
• Create resources to support students with learning.
• Make reasonable adjustments to support students.
• Provide 1:1 or group support to identified students, with class teacher input.

• Are currently recruiting additional Teaching Assistants in schools in Bury and the surrounding areas.
• Are predominantly mainstream primary schools. However, we do have roles available in other settings for the right candidate.

We want to hear from you if:
• If you have professional experience as a Youth Worker, Support Worker or can show experience of working with others with Special Education Needs (SEN).
• You are studying or have studied a Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification or equivalent.
