Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Gloucester
Circa £40000 per year
Monday to Friday - 8am - 430pm

Overview of the Role of Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our team at Gloucester.
The role involves a combination of planned maintenance activities, reactive works, and ensuring excellent customer service to both our clients and the public.
Responsibilities:
Execute planned maintenance tasks as per annual schedules and task instructions.
Respond promptly to reactive maintenance calls, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
Keep site logbooks updated with relevant information and certifications.
Identify maintenance needs and produce detailed technical reports on equipment.
Supervise subcontractors on-site, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and work standards.
Participate in the emergency call-out roster and be available for overtime when required.
Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaborate with team members to support multi-person tasks effectively.
Qualifications and Experience:
NVQ Levels 2 & 3 in Electrical Installation.
Qualified to BS7671 18th Edition Regulations.
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Test certification.
Experience in inspection and testing of electrical equipment (PAT testing) BS2377.
Familiarity with asbestos awareness, IPAF Powered Access Licence, and PASMA (preferable but not essential).
First aid trained (preferable but not essential).
Proficient in computer operations, including Handheld PDA usage.
Knowledge of HVAC equipment maintenance and repair, fault finding, and diagnosis.
Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS), fire protection systems, and plumbing systems.
Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor.
