Environmental Health Officer / Environmental Practitioner | East Midlands | 4–6 Month Contract | From £45 per Hour
We are recruiting on behalf of our client in the East Midlands for an experienced Environmental Health Officer (EHO) or Environmental Practitioner (EP) to join their busy Environmental Protection team on a 4–6 month contract. Full-time is preferred, although part-time applications will be considered. Following an initial office-based induction, the role will require a minimum of two days per week working from the office or on site.
To be successful, you'll have experience managing statutory nuisance, anti-social behaviour (ASB), and pollution investigations, and be confident working independently with minimal supervision. You'll be competent in noise nuisance assessment (ideally holding the IoA Diploma or equivalent), experienced in using Norsonic/Larson Davis sound level meters and associated software, capable of reviewing planning consultations and technical reports covering acoustics, dust management and lighting, and have previous experience using Uniform/IDOX.
