Job role: External Sales Rep
Location: Liverpool
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm (No weekends)

Overview:
We are recruiting for an External Sales Executive on behalf of a well-established electrical wholesale business with a long-standing presence in Liverpool.

You will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of existing accounts, while actively identifying and winning new business opportunities across the Liverpool area. Working closely with the branch team, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and strengthening customer relationships.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven external sales experience within the electrical wholesale industry, who thrives in a customer-focused role and has strong knowledge of electrical products, contractors, and the local market.

The Role:
• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts across Liverpool and the surrounding area.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with customers through regular site visits and account reviews.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and pricing within the local area.
• Deliver against agreed sales targets, margin objectives, and KPI’s.
• Represent the business professionally at customer meetings, trade events, and networking opportunities.
• Provide feedback to management on customer needs, market developments, and potential growth areas.

Skills/experience:
• Electrical Wholesale experience (essential)
• Confident dealing with customers over the phone and face-to-face
• Good customer service skills
• The ability to work within a team in a fast paced office environment
• Team player
