Description
Our client is a respected international insurance and financial services business seeking an experienced Financial Crime Analyst for its Guernsey Compliance function.
This is the more experienced and analytical of their Financial Crime opportunities, with greater exposure to second-line oversight, monitoring and control enhancement.
The successful candidate will support the MLRO and wider Compliance team with monitoring, assurance reviews, remediation activity, policy development, regulatory projects and data analysis, helping strengthen the overall financial crime control framework.
Importantly, our client is also open to someone who may not yet be operating at senior level, but has solid compliance or financial crime experience and is ready for the next step.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Supporting financial crime monitoring and assurance activity.
• Assisting with Suspicious Activity Report reviews and sanctions matters.
• Contributing to remediation and control improvement work.
• Supporting AML, CFT, CPF and wider financial crime controls.
• Assisting with policy development and regulatory projects.
• Preparing management information, analysis and reports.
• Supporting CDD, EDD, risk assessment and ongoing monitoring.
• Monitoring regulatory developments and emerging financial crime risks.
About You
You should have relevant experience within financial crime, AML or compliance in financial services, together with a good understanding of financial crime controls and regulatory requirements.
Experience within insurance, fiduciary, investment or wealth management would be particularly useful.
This could suit an established Financial Crime Analyst or Compliance professional, or someone ready to move into a broader role involving monitoring, assurance, remediation and analysis.
