Job Title: Flexible Teaching Assistant
Location: Taunton & Surrounding Areas
Pay Rate: £92.00 – £109.00 per day
Job Type: Flexible / Supply – Term Time Only
Hours: School hours (typically 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday)

About the Role:
As a Flexible Teaching Assistant, you'll work in different schools supporting teachers and helping students to get the most from their education. No two days are the same – one day you may be supporting a small group in a classroom, while the next you could be providing 1:1 support to a student who needs extra encouragement.
You will play an important role in helping create a positive learning environment where students feel supported, engaged, and able to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students in lessons on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning tasks
Help pupils stay focused, motivated, and engaged
Support positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Adapt to different school environments and age groups
Build positive relationships with students and staff
Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Who We're Looking For:
Friendly, reliable, and adaptable individuals
Experience working with children or young people is beneficial but not essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive attitude and willingness to get involved
Confidence working in new environments and meeting new people
A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential as you'll be travelling between different schools
