Freelance External Works Supervisor

Duration: 17 weeks (potential continuation depending on additional phases)

My Client are a Ground Engineering Contractor working on the Northeast and Yorkshire Regions. With additional works being added to the order book there is a requirement for an experienced external works supervisor for a site in Sunderland.

The purpose of the role is to assist the Site Management Team in the successful delivery of the external works package of the scheme. The works include;
• Filter Drain Installation
• Pin Kerb forming edge
• Trimming up to formation ready for Tarmac

Duties:
• Reporting to Site Manager
• Overseeing x2 Gangs (6 persons)
• Ensuring H&S standards are maintained at all times
• Check sheets
• Daily Briefings
• Toolbox Talks
• Boots on the ground, monitoring the works ensuring daily milestones are achieved

The successful candidate for the role will be from a External Works / Groundworks background ad hold CSCS / SMSTS it SSSTS and ideally first aid at work.
