Freelance Site Engineer / QA Engineer

£300 per shift

I am working with a leading Main Contractor who require a Site Engineer / QA Engineer for a major RC Frame Apartment development in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile, city-centre scheme with a strong pipeline of future projects.

Key Duties:
• Predominantly a checking role with minimal setting-out.
• Maintaining quality assurance records, site diaries, and as-built drawings.
• Supporting the site team with technical queries and problem-solving.
• Conducting checks on reinforcement, formwork, concrete placement, and tolerances.
• Working closely with site management, subcontractors, and design teams.
• Ensuring work is delivered to programme, safely and to spec.

The Candidate:
• Minimum 3+ years’ site experience with RC frames and multi-storey developments.
• Strong understanding of QA processes and document control.
• Competent with robotic total stations and AutoCAD.
• CSCS Card (Engineering/Management Level) essential.
