Site Engineer – Nigh Shift

I am looking for an experienced Site Engineer (for Night Shift) from a Highways background to work with a Tier 1 Contractor in delivering a major highways infrastructure Project in Leeds.

THE ROLE:
• Setting out and checking works during night operations (including roadworks, drainage, ducting, and temporary traffic management)
• Ensuring works are delivered to spec, safely and efficiently
• Coordinating with subcontractors, supervisors and the day team to ensure smooth handovers
• Maintaining accurate QA/QC records and reporting progress
• Acting as the technical point of contact for the night shift team

THE CANDIDATE:
• Strong site engineering experience, ideally on highways or civils night work
• Confident with GPS, robotic total station, and AutoCAD
• CSCS card required; SSSTS/SMSTS & First Aid at Work a plus
• Able to work independently and take ownership of night-time operations
• Flexible, proactive and a great communicator
