Excellent opportunity to join the commercial department of a very successful Independent Freight Forwarder based in Sunbury

Our client is looking for an Freight Pricing /Sales Co-Ordinator to join their team.

Main function of this role is to take care of incoming quotes, from our global partner network. Building relationships and working to secure traffic by air, sea, road and courier. Work closely with the Regional/National sales team

Role will involve -
Handling the UK Sales quotes at our London office.
Building relationships with the partner networks and carriers to ensure we offer best solution to fit their needs.
Covering all modes, import, Export and Cross trade.
Logging quotes and producing reports for the monthly sales meeting discussing wins and losses.
Working on leads and developing new prospects with the National team
Looking for someone keen and eager to develop this important role.
During any downtime to be proactive and assist with other sales duties

• Following up on quotes helping to secure new business
• Processing Sales Leads
• Creating leads and sales appointments for external sales staff
• Assisting with ongoing sales & marketing campaigns

This would be ideal for a candidate with existing Freight Sales experience or a candidate with Operational experience looking to move into a Sales/Commercial role.

Hours Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm

Salary 25K + negotiable according to experience
