Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are recruiting for a full-time SEND Learning Support Worker to join a welcoming and supportive school in Bath. About the role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you’ll support pupils with additional learning, behavioural, communication, or emotional needs. You’ll work closely with teachers and SENCOs to help pupils access learning, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes in the classroom.

Key responsibilities
• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
• Help pupils remain engaged, focused, and supported throughout the school day
• Adapt activities and learning approaches to meet individual needs
• Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural development
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals where required
• Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment

What success looks like
You’ll build strong relationships with pupils, become a trusted and consistent presence in the classroom, and help students make meaningful progress both academically and personally. Your support will play an important role in improving confidence, independence, and engagement in learning.

Essential requirements
• A genuine passion for supporting children with SEND
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Reliable, proactive, and positive attitude
• Ability to commit to a full-time, Monday to Friday role
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Desirable (but not essential)
• Previous experience working with children or young people
• Experience supporting individuals with SEND, SEMH, autism, ADHD, or behavioural needs
• Background in care, coaching, mentoring, or youth work
