#Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Tameside

Axcis is recruiting full-time teaching assistants across Tameside for placements starting this September. Whether you're experienced in a school or have supported individuals with additional needs in another setting (care, youth work or personal experience), we want to hear from you.
#What the role involves:
- Supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in mainstream or specialist settings.
- Working 1:1 or with small groups of pupils.
- Helping children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and learning or communication difficulties.
- Collaborating with teachers and SENCOs to create inclusive learning environments.
#You’ll need:
- Some form of experience supporting individuals with additional needs (in or outside of education).
- A calm, caring and proactive approach to learning support.
- The right to work in the UK.
- A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
