Axcis is currently supporting a mainstream secondary school in the Hall Green area which pride themselves on meeting every individuals needs. They are currently looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work with individuals with SEND needs. The start date of this role is early September 2025 and will be on an ongoing basis over the 2025/26 academic year (July 2026). The successful candidate will work on a timetable basis. supporting different individuals at different times of the day.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3:30, whereby your time will be direct by your timetable. This is the perfect opportunity to make a real difference to this learning and personal development of many young people with varying SEND needs.

Job details:
• Working on a timetable basis, supporting various individuals with SEND needs
• Full time hours (8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday)

Requirements:
• Experience in working with various SEND needs (ASD, MLD, ADHD, Dyslexia) – Essential
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required or we’re happy to carry out a new one ahead of you starting the position – Essential
• Minimum of 2 good references – Essential
