Description

A leading independent financial services group is seeking a Fund Accountant to join its Guernsey-based fund administration business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and numerically skilled individual to be part of a collaborative and growing team delivering bespoke services to a wide range of fund structures across jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with day-to-day administration and accounting for fund structures, including calls and distributions, valuations, management accounts, investor reporting, and annual statements.
• Oversee bookkeeping and periodic bank reconciliations.
• Manage audit processes from start to finish.
• Prepare and review payment instructions and maintain accurate books throughout investment transactions.
• Complete NAV calculations and produce or review financial statements.
• Build strong relationships with clients and intermediaries, managing expectations and turnaround times.
• Work closely with the Senior Manager to ensure the finance team operates effectively.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in financial services.
• Professional accounting qualification (ideally ACCA or ACA).
• Strong technical knowledge of fund accounting and financial services.
• High level of computer literacy and strong interpersonal skills.
