Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Guernsey’s leading venture capital fund administration firm in a key support role. Working within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will gain broad exposure to fund administration processes while supporting experienced colleagues across a varied and innovative client base.

As part of a back-office function, this role involves working closely with both the administration and accounting teams but does not include direct client contact. The position is well suited to someone with an eye for detail and a desire to learn in a collaborative team environment.

Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
• Processing payments of invoices, capital calls, and distributions in line with internal procedures.
• Updating investor records and maintaining accurate data in line with policy.
• Assisting with due diligence collation and document handling.
• Supporting company secretarial matters, including preparation of documentation for board packs.
• Ensuring document management procedures are adhered to and records are accurately maintained.
• Undertaking project work and responding to ad hoc requests from the wider fund administration team.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently under pressure. Strong computer literacy is essential, along with a keen eye for detail and an organised approach to work. A minimum of one year’s experience in an administration or financial services environment is required, and an interest in developing a career within fund administration would be highly advantageous.
