This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive technology team as an Infrastructure Engineer – Cloud. Based in Guernsey, Jersey, or the Isle of Man, the successful candidate will be immersed in a culture of innovation and collaboration, supporting the delivery of high-performing cloud infrastructure and services. Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
• Managing technical investigations, including support incidents and system issues, ensuring root cause analysis and resolution.
• Provisioning and maintaining customer services with accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitoring systems proactively and managing alerts to ensure service continuity.
• Liaising with third-party vendors and escalating support cases where necessary.
• Contributing to operational process improvements and service enhancements.
• Balancing day-to-day tasks with project deliverables.
• Adhering to all relevant regulatory, health and safety, and information security obligations.
• Participating in mandatory security awareness and compliance training.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of IT infrastructure, including hardware, operating systems, virtualisation, and security systems. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and DNS is essential, along with at least three years in a systems administration role—preferably within a service provider environment. An associate-level certification (such as CCNA, VCA, or equivalent experience) is expected. Candidates will demonstrate a customer-first mindset, strong communication skills, excellent time management, and high attention to detail. Familiarity with ITIL frameworks, ISO27001, or PCI-DSS would be advantageous.
