General Manager
£32,000 - £35,000 DOE + Performance Bonus
We are recruiting for an ambitious General Manager to lead an established hospitality venue with significant growth potential.
This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced General Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in their career. The business is currently operating on a limited trading schedule and requires a commercially minded leader to drive growth, increase trading days, and re-establish the venue as a key destination within the local community.
The successful candidate will be passionate about hospitality, food, events, and creating memorable guest experiences while taking full ownership of the venue's performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Overall day-to-day management of the venue
• Driving sales growth and increasing trading opportunities
• Planning, promoting and delivering successful events
• Managing both front and back of house operations
• Full responsibility for P&L performance and KPI delivery
• Leading, developing and motivating the existing team
• Implementing local marketing initiatives to drive footfall
• Maintaining high standards of service, compliance and operational excellence
The Ideal Candidate
• Current General Manager or experienced Deputy Manager ready for progression
• Strong understanding of hospitality operations, including BOH management
• Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and P&L
• Passion for food-led operations and event planning
• Experience driving sales and community engagement
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Ambitious, proactive and looking for a long-term opportunity
