We are looking for an experienced Groundworker / Dumper Operator to join our team on a busy construction project.
The successful candidate will be a reliable, hardworking and experienced groundworker who takes pride in their work and consistently maintains a high standard of workmanship and health & safety.
Requirements
-Proven experience working as a Groundworker on construction sites.
-Experience operating a site dumper.
-Valid CSCS card appropriate for the role.
-Valid and relevant dumper/operator qualification or CPCS/NPORS ticket for the machine being operated.
-All relevant training and certification required to legally and safely operate the dumper.
-Good knowledge of construction site health & safety procedures.
-Experience with general groundworks, including excavation, drainage, concreting, kerbing, foundations and associated works.
-Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
-Good understanding of site safety and safe working practices.
-Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
-Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual groundworks.
-High standard of workmanship with good attention to detail.
-Own transport or reliable means of getting to site is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
-Carrying out general groundworks to a high standard.
-Safely operating the dumper within the limits of your relevant qualification/ticket.
-Loading, transporting and tipping materials safely around site.
-Assisting with excavation, drainage, foundations, concreting and other groundworks.
-Working safely around plant, machinery and other site personnel.
-Following drawings, site instructions and method statements where required.
-Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area.
-Reporting any defects, hazards or safety concerns to the site management team.
-Working efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality.
