Kenton Black Finance are exclusively supporting a growing SME to appoint a new Head of Finance. The business has grown significantly over recent years, with further growth forecasted through entering new markets and organic growth.
This number 1 finance role will take ownership of all accounting operations for the business, working closely with the Managing Director to support strategic decision making and ongoing business success.

Your New Role as Head of Finance:
As Head of Finance, you will report into the Managing Director, leading a small finance team. Duties will include:
• Leading a small team of finance staff, being responsible for their training and development as required
• Managing any future recruitment into the finance team as the business continues to grow
• Review of monthly management accounts
• Leading the year end process, liaising with external stakeholders including auditors
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Ongoing review of systems, processes and policies, making recommendations where necessary to ensure robust controls
Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:
The successful candidate will be fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA), proven in a similar lead finance role within an SME environment. Staff management/supervision experience is required as well as proven ability to enhance existing systems and processes and provide strategic support as required.
