Our client, a telecommunications provider, is recruiting a senior leader to oversee procurement, project management and governance across its group. The successful candidate can be based in Guernsey, Jersey or the Isle of Man.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and managing the Procurement Manager and PMO Manager, you will shape strategy, advise senior leaders and strengthen commercial value, investment decisions and project oversight.

The role
• Lead procurement strategy, sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract management and third-party risk.
• Oversee project governance, capital allocation, portfolio performance and benefits tracking.
• Provide oversight of property, insurance and inventory governance.
• Support Board reporting, internal controls and continuous improvement while developing your management team.

About you
You will bring significant senior experience across procurement, project or portfolio governance, corporate governance or property portfolio management, alongside a track record of leading managers or developing a business function.

Strong commercial and financial judgement, project portfolio oversight, supplier risk management and the ability to influence senior stakeholders are essential.

Experience in telecommunications, technology, infrastructure or another regulated, asset-intensive environment is advantageous. Qualifications such as CIPS, APM, PRINCE2, PMP or MSP, or an equivalent governance or commercial qualification, are desirable.

Hours: 37.5 per week. A satisfactory Basic Police Disclosure is required.
