HR Administrator (9-Month FTC – Maternity Cover)
Start date: Early June 2025 (latest)
Working Pattern: On-site 5 days a week (flexibility possible post-probation)
Salary: £26,000–£27,000 per annum
Location: Cambridge – Supporting 120 UK employees

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain up-to-date employee records in the HRIS, ensuring data confidentiality
Support new hire processes including documentation and inductions
Administer employee lifecycle changes (promotions, terminations, benefits)
Collate and submit monthly payroll data accurately and on time
Manage health-related admin (eye tests, vaccinations) with external providers
Ensure compliance with UK employment law and company policies
Communicate HR updates and initiatives clearly across the business
Provide ad-hoc support to the Senior Leadership Team:
Take meeting minutes
Arrange travel and training
Support with expenses and event logistics
Help coordinate employee training sessions and keep records updated
Assist with billing and invoice queries related to SLT and site activities
What We’re Looking For
CIPD qualified or working towards it (or equivalent experience)
Familiarity with UK employment legislation and basic HR processes
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and OneDrive
Previous use of HRIS systems and a desire to improve workflows
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused attitude
Motivated self-starter who thrives under pressure
Team player who enjoys supporting others and working collaboratively
