Description
We have a new opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join our Logistics client.
Role will involve supporting a workforce of approximately 200 FTE ensuring smooth operations, employee engagement and compliance with best HR practices.
Working closely with the HR Manager, role will involve the following responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices.
Oversee HR administration, including employee records, contracts, and benefits management.
HR Audits to ensure data accuracy.
Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
Support managers with employee relations, disciplinary matters, grievances, and performance management.
Maintain and update the HRIS (Bamboo HR), ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, probation, and offboarding.
Produce key HR reports and metrics to support decision-making.
Drive process improvements to enhance HR service delivery.
Essential skills and experience:
HR Experience: 2-5 years as an HR Advisor with experience in employee relations, policies, and end-to-end recruitment.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and experience with HRIS systems (preferably Bamboo HR).
People-Focused: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Compliance & Best Practice: Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
Qualifications: CIPD Level 5 qualification is essential.
