Description

A new role for an Import Coordinator with Bias to Airfreight Import but knowledge of Road and Ocean Import would be of huge benefit..

With 2+ years’ experience working for a smaller to medium sized forwarder on a start to finish role:

- Minimum of 2 Years Experience preparing and physically doing Customs Entries, compliant to the new CDS Regime.
- Understanding and able to Navigate the HMR&C Customs Tariff.
- Knowledge and Understanding of Incoterms.
- Being able to work to deadlines with a calm persona.
- Understanding how the Airline Handling Agents work and the Free times allotted from setting of ST1.
- The candidate will be responsible for ensuring we get the best possible deals at all times, with regards to the Ex Bond and final Delivery - We have
a directory of approved Hauliers we use but always look for someone to find that best deal for us.
- Understanding of accruals involved on the job from receipt of booking / pre alert, through to delivery (This is where Incoterms knowledge is so
important)
- The candidate will be responsible for loading on a set of accurate accruals in preparation for file Invoicing.

High levels of Customer Service is required

Hours: Mon-Fri 0900-1730 or Finish
