Overview:
We are recruiting on behalf of a forward-thinking and fast-growing electrical wholesale business in Southampton, who are looking to appoint a motivated Internal Sales Executive to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused and proactive individual who enjoys building relationships and supporting business growth.

Responsibilities:
• Manage incoming customer enquiries via phone and email, providing product information, pricing, and support
• Prepare and follow up quotations in a timely manner to maximise conversion into orders
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring excellent service and communication throughout
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring a high level of service and identifying opportunities to increase spend
• Support the Business Development Manager by handling leads generated through external activity and helping convert these into active accounts
• Proactively contact existing and lapsed customers to generate repeat business and identify new opportunities
• Maintain accurate customer records, quotations, and sales activity within the company systems

Skills / Experience:
• Electrical Wholesale experience (essential)
• Driving Licence
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confident handling incoming leads and supporting external sales colleagues to convert opportunities into new business
• Well organised and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple customer requests effectively
