Our client is an international stock exchange providing a responsive and innovative listing facility for international companies to raise capital from investors based around the globe seeking to recruit a Junior Software Developer/Quality Assurance Tester to join their IT Department based in Guernsey.

Overall purpose of the role:

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Junior Software Developer will be joining them at an exciting time when they redesign their core infrastructure and their purpose-built software to provide more efficient straight-through-processing across their key business processes.

Duties and responsibilities include;

• Producing clean and efficient code, testing verifying and deploying programs and applications, upgrading existing software, creating technical documentation, compiling, and assessing user feedback and working collaboratively across the group, to ensure technical solutions and service levels meet the needs of internal and external customers.

The successful candidate will have:

• Demonstrable experience with software development, knowledge of the software development life cycle, resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude, ability to learn quickly and work independently as well as part of a team and alignment with company values.
